JBCO 5N1 Loc Down Gel is a revolutionary holding gel specially formulated with our nutrient rich JBCO and Aloe Vera to deliver a lasting hold and shine without build up or stickiness on the hair. It can be used on all types of styles that require hold, shine and manageability.
Designed for styling waves, locs, twists, braids, and edges, 5N1 also helps with hair growth. Carefully formulated with pure Jamaican black castor oil— sourced from castor beans from family-owned farms in Jamaica—and aloe vera, the gel provides lasting hold and shine without build up or stickiness.

Directions:
Edges: Using a comb or edge brush, separate your edges from your hair. Apply appropriate amount of 5n1 Loc Down Gel to the hair and swoop and create shapes using the edge brush or smooth tooth comb. Define using the pointed tip of the comb or edge brush.
Braids: When braiding, apply 5n1 Loc Down Gel to base of the braid, while braiding to keep it in place and smooth flyaways. Braid style as usual. If needed rub gel in hands and smooth down braids that have flyaways hairs for perfect finished look.
Locs: Start Locs: Next, part hair in small sections; roll the hair between the palm of the hands. Beginning at the back of the head, take one section and coat it with 5n1 Loc Down Gel from root to tip. Next, roll the hair between palms of the hair, always working it in the same direction. Continue to roll the hair together from the root to the tip to create locs. Touch Up Locs: Apply 5n1 Loc Down Gel to root of hair that is being re-twisted and palm roll.
Twists: Section the hair and apply a small amount of the 5n1 Loc Down Gel throughout each section followed by twisting. Sit under dryer to enhance lasting results and completed finish looks.
Waves: Apply 5n1 Loc Down Gel to damp or dry hair. To apply, use your finger to scoop a dime-sized amount or more if hair is very thick; and rub between your palms to warm it and apply to the hair. Burhs the hair down and place a stocking cap or doo-rag to set in waves.
